Being Awesome in 2014 / by Alana Moran

HAPPY NEW YEAR!coverpage2014

I ended 2013 by going to bed at 10:00pm, I have had a horrible cold for a while and I just wanted to sleep….ridiculous I know…lol.

Let's start the year off right and plan to be awesome in 2014!  There are so many things I want to do this year both personally and professionally.  There may even be ways that we can all be awesome together!  I always say I have some of the best clients and I know 2014 will be no different in that respect.  So lets start this year off right and I will give you a few of my goals…

#1 - Take a trip…this one is already in the works.  We are taking our kids to Disneyland (Shhhhh….it's a surprise for them) and I will be going with the fabulous Rachel from GingerBabyMama and her family.  We even saved $600 by using our Air Miles points and redeemed them for a couple of our Disneyland tickets.

#2 - Blog more often.  Yes I know I said I wanted to do this in 2013, but this year I have a plan.  My goal is to blog once a week for the WHOLE year.  I know what you are thinking, how hard can that be, but for me this is a challenge!

#3 - Network, Netwrok, Network!  You probably noticed a bit of this happening at the end of 2013 on my Facebook page with my Twelve Days of Christmas Giveaway.  I reached out to some other local vendors for this giveaway.  They were so generous to give a prize for this as I put it all together last minute.  If you did not check out the vendors please do, they are fabulous!

#4 - Wedding Fair.  I plan on signing up for a local wedding fair to showcase my photography and hopefully meet some more great Brides!

#5 - Give back.  This year I plan on giving away a Mini Session to a family who perhaps can't afford a session for one reason or another.  Keep your eyes open to see when I am taking nominations.

I have so many other goals for this year, there are just too many to write.  I hope I am successful in completing all of these as I am planning them all out.

Do you have any goals for 2014?  I would love to hear them.

Thanks for reading, I appreciate it.
